Zion national park is about 200 sq mile national park that is located in the southwest region of Utah. Zion is Utah's oldest national park and is a very popular tourist destination. The park has massive canyon walls, brilliant colors, a wide variety of plant and animal life, hiking trails, campgrounds, sightseeing opportunities with amazing views, etc. The park has two main areas including zion canyon and kolob canyons. Zion canyon is home to angel's landing and the narrows. The shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Here are some things to do in Zion National Park include attractions like Angel's landing, Emerald pools trail, Zion canyon scenic drive, Mt carmel highway, weeping rock trail and riverside walk.

1. Angel's landing: This is one of the best hiking trails and adventurous things to do in Zion National Park. The trail leading to Angel's landing is 5 miles long and takes about 4 to 5 hours to hike. It provides amazing views of zion canyon. Angel's landing is great for hikers who have no fear of heights. The canyon, the green trees and bushes are a nice place to cool down from the walk. Best time to hike is summer, spring and fall. Do not forget to take plenty of water, sun cream, snacks, hiking boots and a hat.

2. Zion narrows trail: Zion narrows is another great hiking trail in Zion National park. Zion narrows has 16 miles long, about 2000 feet deep and offers spectacular views of zion canyon. You might see soaring walls, hanging gardens and natural springs.

3. Emerald pools trail: Emerald pools trail is one of the famous trails in Zion National Park is located near Springdale, Utah. Emerald pools trail is about 2 miles. It leads to emerald pools and refreshing waterfalls. Emerald pools is great for children and offers a lot of fun.

4. Zion canyon scenic drive: This drive takes you through the majestic beauty of zion’s inner gorge. The scenic drive is about 6 miles long and ends at the temple of Sinawava making it one of the top things to do in Zion National Park.

5. Zion Mt carmel highway: Zion Mt carmel highway is a great scenic drive with beautiful views of zion canyon and red colored sandstones. Zion Mt carmel highway includes a 1 mile tunnel. The tunnel is 1200 feet above the canyon floor.

6. Weeping rock trail: Being the shortest trail in the park with just about half mile round trip but offers amazing views of zion canyon for a quick hike.

7. Riverside Walk: Riverside walk is the easiest and most popular trail in zion national park. The walk is a 2 mile round trip on paved ground with almost flat land.
